It's 6016, it's a Friday in December, and it's the end of the world. Prefekt, who has turned up for work anyway, is politely press-ganged into being sent back 4000 years through time (without a packed lunch) along with a robotic personal assistant (and assassin), the P1-XE. He is told that he needs to find someone, someone who can possibly help save their world. It's 2016, it's a Friday in December, and a 9-year-old Stella and her beloved, yet rather pungent, Teddy discover a disorientated alien and a robot stuck in the bathtub. Who are they, what do they want, and why are they so cute, she wonders? Between them, they must find out who Prefekt and the P1-XE are looking for, and what they must do to get back home to save their world. The good news is that it seems that they have plenty of time to figure it out, the bad news - no one seems to know anything about world-saving. Oh, and it turns out Prefekt is also a frog; who knew? Along the way they also need to avoid detection by Stella's monstrous (in size only) parents, impersonate a princess, practice ballet, eat grasshoppers and somehow cope with the ultimate loss.
