Ever since mankind first stepped forth from Paradise to inhabit the earth there were evil spirits who were already scattered to the four winds. Whether Jinn or some other form of extra-dimensional species, those spirits were so adept at avoiding the gods that Zeus laid out a plan for capturing them.

He assigned Pandora, a demigod, with a special task. She was given a magical box which, when opened, would capture evil spirits and trap them inside for eternity.
