After writing "G. A. M. E: Grown Ass Man Experience," a book geared towards helping to guide young black males in their journey into manhood, author, Pierre D. Perry, has now written a book geared in assisiting black women in reaching their "queen status." It is Perry's hope that this book will help black women realize their worth, learn to love themselves unconditionally, and never allow anyone to treat them less than the queens that they are. As the father of two daughters, Perry knows firsthand what a black female sometimes goes through before coming into her own. Perry doesn't claim to be a man who knows what it's like to be a woman, nor does he credits himself on being an expert in knowing what's best for women, but he does know enough from life experiences to know that once a woman realizes her worth, there's nothing to stop her from reaching her full potential. After reading this book, every queen should be willing and able to wear her crown proudly.
