Reverend Zukiswa Ndamase was born in Libode in the Eastern Cape. She is an ordained minister at the Evangelical Methodist, South Africa District. She is a teacher by profession and served as a lecturer at Butterworth College of Education and University of Transkei respectively. She is currently the Deputy Chief Education Specialist at the Department of Education in Fort Beaufort. She is also a mother of four children.
