These times are muddled and these minds are troubled; encapsulated in a collection of poems that bring observational wit, depth and emotion to events, characters, and topics entrenched in the hourglass of humanity, the personal psyche, the enigma of existence, and the crooked road that we all tread. Written with his usual underlying backdrop of London's bustlings and musings, the poet covers a river-flow of topics ranging from the constant stream of social media, celebrity culture, capitalism, terrorism, nostalgia, insomnia, death and even the good old pub, moving through to the estuary of Covid lockdown and exploring what that has meant exactly to be a uniquely average human being swimming in the wild seas of life.
