Too proud to ask for help and too quick to judge and to misjudge, Trevor makes mistakes that put others and eventually himself in dire peril. Can he, will he learn to listen to and accept help from others in time to save himself and his friends? Or will his stubborn pride bring disaster upon himself and his friends? This novel explores the consequences of misuse of power of various sorts and points to what can be accomplished through a wise use of power and at what cost to those who choose to wield power wisely.
