This book contains poetry written over the course of a decade that was the product of introspection, heartbreak, and healing. It is the culmination of years of revision, which aims, through its organization, to tell the story of the author's life and experiences. It is not political in nature and is instead a deep inspection of human nature, existence, and the limitations and wonder found in each. Although variation in meter and style exists, the poems overall were crafted upon the framework established by the Romantics. Nature, love, passion, and philosophy figure prominently as subject matter.
