A taste of reality occurs when any man forgets from whence, he came. In this instance, black men have labored under the negative labels placed on them by society over centuries of being indoctrinated by the standards, beliefs, and the anarchy of white America. This fabled piece of information that highlights the negative labeling of black men is meant to teach and educate all black men that the labels assigned to us by others do not have to exist unless you elect to allow it to continue. This text indexed by using the word fable is a reminder that what we choose to think and how we behave becomes a fundamental part of who we are and whom we will remain to be. If ending this skewed view of black men, every black man, young, old, or in between, can change who they are, and how they have been referred far too long. The battle cry of black America, and its black men, must be a complete reversal into what was, and not what is presently attributed.
