The pages aren't perforated, but you can remove them easily and cleanly using a craft knife. Each design has a white margin so you don't have to colour to the edge, and there's space if you like to frame your finished pieces

The drawings are printed on one side of the paper only, so bleed-through isn't an issue. To be extra-safe, you can protect the image underneath the page you're colouring with a sheet of scrap paper. There's a blank page at the back of the book for this, and for colour testing.
