Meanwhile, Australian Siobhan (my wife likes Siobhan too) and Japanese Hiro are grappling with increasing suicide rates in the population of the World Council, governed by President Rossini. Kenny and his friend Rob, after exploring SIMs of Victorian times become involved with deep downloading. In this environment anything they imagine can be lived in fullness in the cloud. And they have good imaginations!But deep downloading has unexpected consequences for President Rossini, in particular the Fundamentalists find the situation abhorrent. What if there is no need for death? Where does religion feature if there is no death? The Future Whispers poses potential risks for mankind and in a world of aliens, machines, Neanderthals, and humans a lot can happen.
