Based on what I have researched, and you have read in the medical aspect, I safely resolved that there is a difference between being raised and being nurtured. Jezebel was raised by servants, but wasn't nurtured by her parents. Jacob was raised by his parents, but his mother interfered with him being nurtured by his father (and every young man needs their father). And me, well... Because God promised that He would never leave or forsake me, I am finally being nurtured by my God-given family - not that my daddy did not try or wanted to, but like Jacob, that was interfered by my mother. Nurture is defined as a noun, is the process of caring for and encouraging the growth or development of someone or something. By definition "raise" is actually a synonym (the same as) nurture, but is it really? Let's look at this example: one person has 2 Pitbulls. The first Pitbull is friendly, playful and approachable. The second Pitbull is mean, nasty and would probably kill you if given the command to do so. They are the same breed of dog, same owner, but they act totally different. Why? Because even though they are the same breed of animal, who came from the same womb, they were raised differently. In my opinion (backed by scientific studies), the difference between being nurtured and being raised is LOVE.
