I like that life is changeable. As HSS, I like changes, because I want to try and experience. When I was young, I thought life was going to be long. Now that I am 62 years old and making progress with my therapy, I realize that everything in life is actually temporary. I can be dead tomorrow. I realize that life is changeable, because we as humans cannot control life 100%. My negative childhood was temporary. My parents' presence was temporary. The presence of my other family members is temporary. The presence of the mental disorders PTSD, (open and hidden) narcissism, codependency, gaslighting (cunning manipulation technique of hidden narcissism) and TPS was temporary, because they belong to my negative childhood. Now that I am 62 years old and making progress with my therapy, I make sure that I do not have contact with people with the aforementioned mental illnesses. I can of course also have negative changes for the rest of my life, but I am more busy with the positive changes. I don't close my eyes to the negative sides of my life, but now I look more at the positive sides. As HSP, I can quickly notice small changes, whether I like it or not. The consequences of small changes can be huge. But every change is temporary, even if it can have consequences for the rest of my life. It is a matter of adapting and accepting, what is there. The fact that everything in life is temporary, keeps me active and encourages me to remain active. No one can stop life, so I change with what happens in life.
