San Francisco, CA -1980. The innocence of a High School is destroyed by a lone gunman. Surviving the horrific shooting is Rhonda Schwartz, who is left mentally scarred by the tragic events and loss of her close friend. Rhonda moves forward in life and excels, to become one of New York's finest lawyers. However, when she is overlooked for the top job she returns to her native California where she runs for Congress. Rhonda's dogged determination propels her to be the Presidential nominee and is triumphant in the election. Controlling Congress and the Supreme Court she enacts her life long dream - firearm control legislation. This is passed after a series of mass shootings. Months pass and finally a USMC veteran and a local lawman make a stand. The White House dispatch the ATF to arrest the two rebels, but backed by a US Ranger veteran and a small army of militia the arrest attempts become a disaster. With a Texan Senator defecting and supporting the rebels, over a dozen states go against the tyrannical President. Feeling the pressure she calls in UN support, but after a violent clash with UN troops on the Canadian border the UN withdraw. The confrontation builds between the President and the newly formed Free States of America, with Lexington, KY to be the first major flash point between the US Army and Kentucky National Guard. Who will be triumphant? Only time will tell.
