The Tabernacle Maker is about the tabernacle place where with every encounter we are transformed from one degree of glory to another. It is based on the uncomplicated premise that as we honor the Lord's people, we encounter His tabernacle place. In an ordinary neighborhood, Peter stood on the rooftop of Simon the tanners' house, when suddenly the heavens opened. Peter had an encounter from the Lord, and his life was forever changed. As Abraham's servant Eliezer traveled through an unknown country, he came to the town where Abraham's family lived. He prayed that the Lord would answer him to find Isaac, a wife. At that moment, Rebekah came out of the city gates and asked an absolute stranger if she could give water to his thirsty camels. Eliezer, too, had encountered the Lord. Again, in another little town called Zuph, there was a precious vessel of the Lord's tabernacle called Samuel. As soon as Saul met Samuel, Saul entered into another place, a hidden place, a place that opens with honor and recognition. A veil was moved, he stepped into a supernatural place, into a place where he could hear the voice of God. Here Saul could listen to destiny and purpose. God's blueprints for his life were revealed here. In this place, everything was possible; what was lost was found, what was sealed away was uncovered; what was broken was healed. In this place, Saul's life was advanced, speeded ahead to where he never thought he could be. A place that would make children beholden in wonder. Saul had entered the tabernacle of the Lord, and here he could hear the Lord's plans for him, here he was invited to dwell with the Lord. There is a tabernacle in the neighborhood; it is in the vessels of the Lord. After this encounter, Saul could look at this ordinary town and ask what is so special about this town? But it is not this town of Zuph that is so special. It is the Lord's vessels in Zuph that makes it special, and recognizing His vessels in ordinary places such as Zuph is glory by itself. If you have a desire to bring others into their calling. If the destiny of others excites you. If you have a passion to see God use His people in amazing ways, then this book The Tabernacle Maker is for you!
