Poems in My Life
MacKenzie William Moulton
Throughout my life I have had happyness, sadness and trauma. I was in the Metropolitan Police in London for 30 years and always found writing a poem about my experiences helped me cope. Now, at 68, it is time to share my poetry with the world and so I have chosen what I think are the best ones and turned them into a book. Yes thats me as a child on the cover, wearing my knitted swimming trunks on Exmouth Beach, Devon UK. They saged and got heavy when they got wet, but at that age i knew no different. Mum knitted everything for us, she was brilliant and even had the ability to knit Fair Isle right into her 70's. I still treasure the last one she knitted me when I decided to live on a boat with my wife Kay.
