Nuclear Beach Harriet Pike
Nuclear Beach
Harriet Pike
Nothing is as blissful as it looks in the Big Island resort community. Cass Golden, editor of the local newspaper, and Jacqui, a 20ish eccentric young reporter, doubt the safety of its newly-opened nuclear plant. After a few months of operation, the plant's radiation, dischaged into the ocean, causes the closure of a popular beach. Jacqui sees a pregnant tourist struggling in the polluted water and saves her, but the baby is stillborn. How will the town and the plant operator react to this tragedy?
