Here's a Lebanese adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol;' but it isn't about Christmas. Monzer Zaarour, a fanatic and a hater of the Resistance Party, refuses to give tomorrow off to his clerk, Abu Ali, on the Resistance and Liberation Day. That night, Monzer is visited by the ghost of his late business partner, Jacob Hunein, who was as fanatic as Monzer is in his political views. Jacob has been condemned to an eternity of wandering the Earth in shackles because he hated the resistance that sought to free him and all the Lebanese from the Israeli occupation. He informs Monzer that he's to receive a trio of spirits that night who will take him on a journey through the Past, to show him the south during occupation; the Present, to have a glimpse of the Resistance preparations to defend the country against a potential Israeli aggression; and the Future, to see what will happen if it weren't for the Resistance. Infused with a new, realistic outlook on Politics, Monzer sets about earning his redemption and freedom from the occupation shackles.
