This ninth volume of the Collected Works of Thomas Hodgskin presents Hodgskin's reviews and some of his articles published in The Economist journal between 1843 and 1857. We find him again "speaking truth to power" in his by then established style. The ferociousness of many of his comments seems to reflect less concern with the potential dangers he was exposing himself to, which can be seen to illustrate a matured confidence.
