Hyperopia Justice is a book about sentencing disparities. It is a book that uncover topics that are interrelated within the criminal justice disciplinary to promote the erudition of an ultimately broken system. When looking beyond what is presented before the eye, some struggle to see fine details that help impair how justice is served unto disadvantaged others. Furthermore, they develop a case of hyperopia, in which they are blinded by nescient distortions of America's detrimental criminal justice reform occurring before them. This book is to inform and engage readers while acknowledging the need for reformed criminal justice. There are eight mitigating factors delineated in such a way to contribute to the discussion of how unfair sentencing plagues communities, webbed within a dark cycle of institutionalized racism.
