The Life and Times of Harry Wolf, 2020 EditionThe 2020 edition has 76 chapters. Seventy of the chapters appeared in earlier versions of the book (A few have relatively minor) modifications in this edition) and six of the stories are completely new. (As with previous editions, these are stories narrated by Harry's cousin, Canis Latrans.) Stories from earlier editions describe how Harry Wolf quit his acting job in Hollywood, how he was accused of (and cleared of) the murder of Red Riding Hood's grandmother, how he was hired (and later fired) by homeland security, and how he was eventually murdered by a family of pigs involved in an insurance scam. During his career he became involved with Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty, Cindy Reller, Rumpelstiltskin, Dr. Hoot (the time travelling owl) Zeus, Loki and many other exotic characters, far too many to list here. In the chapters new to the 2020 edition: How did Athena get to be The Goddess of Wisdom? Canis tells us how that came to be (and how Harry learned the answer to that.) In a related story, we learn how Tappy Toes Tommy Tortoise came to have enough of a reputation as a sprinter that he was engaged in a race with a hare. When the Beamish boy acquired a vorpal sword, Harry was called on to protect the local Jabberwock. The Jabberwock case ended up involving Harry in the short strange advertising campaign for Tumtum Juice. When the Frog who Went a Wooing proposed marriage to a mouse, he couldn't get the consent of her Uncle Rat. Could Harry help? Should he have tried to help?
