SJ´s Story is the third and final volume of the Miller family trilogy. It follows The Inheritance and And Then, telling the story of SJ Miller´s life after murdering his mother and attempting to murder his father in the waters off St. Michael´s Island in the Caribbean. Suddenly leaving his life at UCLA in Los Angeles after learning his father had somehow survived his attempted murder, SJ escapes to Texas and finds work as a laborer on the vast King Ranch. His days are filled with regret as he thinks back on that terrible day when he forever lost his family and doomed himself to a life of isolation and, ultimately, an eternity in hell. Some years later, a private detective hired by SJ´s father and aunt finds him at the King Ranch and SJ is stunned to receive a letter from his father. Is forgiveness and reconciliation possible? Can SJ ever redeem himself from the terrible sin he committed?
