Infinity chronicles the young life of Norman Tucker, a boy rejected by both family and strangers. Parents do not want him. Friends do not exist for him. With no one watching, his world is of his own choosing. Only a single voice in the nothingness breaks into his loneliness. However, a crucial event places Norm into a new situation which brings him increased attention but decreased freedom. Another man fills Norm's parental absence but invokes further uncertainty within him. Norm cannot stay here forever, but can he ever return to ordinary life? As she fights to discover her own identity, adults and peers alike combat her every gain and deliver complicated emotional wounds.
