Ted Tulare's journey continues in the prequel to "East Hollywood", "East Hollywood: Prospect Avenue". Fresh from his mother's funeral (having died from a drug overdose) a ten-year old Ted Tulare is thrust into the chaos of childhood in East Hollywood. His father, a prominent Hollywood doctor, is more adept at womanizing than raising a child, leaves young Tulare to his own devices where he meets children that have also fallen through the cracks. Kids that are worse off than him. He forms friendships that help him keep his sanity and hope in the poisoned soil of East Hollywood.
