Penny D's favorite sport is basketball, but all he does is watch it on TV. That's because every time he tries playing, he feels he can't do it. The boy gets frustrated easily and never wants to play again. But after a lengthy talk with his dad, he realizes that he can't become a great player overnight. Penny D agrees to put in the hours and gets to work. He starts slow and simple, and with the school tryouts just 3 weeks away, he is more motivated than ever. Penny D is many kids around the world. Seemingly lazy, discouraged and unwilling to work for what he wants. But with a little attention and encouragement, he just might make the basketball team.
