In this fantasy novel, Lara found two rings near her lake house. The rings were plastic, dirty, and broken. You may not think twice about it and probably would have left them there because they looked like toy rings. One was made from metal, while the other was made from wood. But to her, she liked them enough to wear them. And when she did, that's when the trouble unfolded. A hazy brown fog appeared when she wore the wooden ring. It was peculiar and odd. It floated and hovered near her. And when she decided to wear the metal ring, a silver mist popped up. It was like witnessing a lazy apparition. She tried to understand it, but to no avail, she couldn't figure it out. She called Ethan over to help. And that's how the story starts. I hope you enjoy this short story as they both discover the mystery behind the rings. I loved writing it and am working on other stories. I first got the idea for the book literally from finding two rings on my hike through the forest one day. It sparked a story inside of me and weaved a tale I wanted to share with you.
