My life on the water
Fabiana Beltrame
In September 2011, Fabiana Beltrame became the first world rowing champion in the history of Brazil, and this is just one of the titles she has won for Brazilian sport. It was also the first Brazilian rower to compete in the Olympic Games and to win a World Cup. There were 19 years dedicated to the sport, with many ups and downs in a career that started without many pretensions, in a little known sport. But despite the difficulties, Fabiana became the best rower in the country.
