For this "Mega-Compendium", I have added 5 new stories to the 10 already published. In the new stories, Firewoman Sam is invited to tour fire-fighting associations in Asia. For the first time, all the Firewoman Sam stories are available together on Kindle and in print. There are no pictures and they are intended to be read aloud at bedtime. The stories, which develop and mature, are aimed at kids aged 4-10. Although they are light in tone, they do not avoid serious issues. I hope they will help with verbal skills and will encourage both a discussion of the issues as well as an active imagination. Firewoman Sam is a fearless, feminist fire-fighter who believes that women are just as brave as men. She saves little girls from drowning, puts out fires and rescues grannies stuck in trees.
