Mama Lou, the Storyteller, is well known for her folklore of horrifying monsters, magical creatures, mystical beings, and otherworldly people. In this collection, she shares a variety of folk's favorite tales she created to entertain families and children gathered around her cabin in the mountains of Tennessee and her home in the swamps of the South. Through her stories, she recounts her (and other folks) many misadventures, struggles, triumphs and her life with her one true love as they navigate a challenging life in the majestic tranquility of the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and the dark and deadly swamps of the deepest part of Georgia.
