What happens when someone takes a weakness and curates it into their strength? A compilation of poems, of course. The Sentimentalist takes readers through a journey of finding home in a world that that can often times feel lonely. It navigates through the social ills of society that we all suffer from, yet foster at the same time. As this piece of work progresses, the reader is encouraged by the concept of a collective sort of solidarity. We, as humans are more similar than different, and our emotions in our rawest form are primary. Existing in all of us, in different forms. The Sentimentalist is divided into three segments: To them, To you and To me. Exploring the different faces we as humans can possess. As complex as these different sides of our existence can be, they can all be simple in their own ways.
