TURTLE'S WAY is the picture book story of a momma turtle with a plan of her own, the lakeside neighbors concerned for her, and ten turtle babies trying to find their way home. Sometimes you need to go your own way despite what others are telling you. This is true for Momma Turtle as she sets out on a course that takes her away from her lake. "Wrong way! Wrong way!" call out her lakeside friends, but Momma Turtle continues on according to her own plan. Sometimes you need the help of others to find your way. This is true for ten baby turtles, born in the woods, which set out to find the way to their new home at the lake. "This way! This way!" direct the critters they meet along the way.
