The Hole I Walk Around Lori Moran
The Hole I Walk Around
Lori Moran
Lori Moran's idyllic life with her two little girls and her husband, Mike, was taken away in the blink of an eye on Valentine's Day 1990 when a drunk driver slammed into Mike's car after he had picked the girls up from school and daycare. Although seriously injured, Mike would recover. The girls were not as fortunate-they succumbed to their injuries. Thus began Ms. Moran's journey into the deep, dark hole that no parent ever wishes to enter-life without their children. Ms. Moran is open and brutally honest as she describes how the events of that day changed her life-the grieving process, mistakes she made, and the heartaches along the way. She details how she grew as a person and found the strength to move forward and heal her heart. Lori went on to have more children and has dedicated her life to nursing and fostering children. She continues to work tirelessly as an activist and public speaker to educate and hopefully prevent others from driving under the influence. This is her story...
