Gone are the days when a priestly hierarchy assumed authority and prerogative over the destiny of a congregation. Now the responsibility is respective and the consequences of indifference are ours alone whether it be a meaningful succession through an enlivened mind, or a descent into the predisposition of animalian instinct.
