What would we do if we didn't have The Book of Mormon? I cannot imagine my life without it. I have read it, I have savored it, I have treasured it all my life. Does it contradict the Bible or take the place of the Bible? No, not in any way. God directed the writing of both and brought them together. In Ezekiel we read, "... take thee one stick, and write upon it for Judah, for the children of Israel...then take another stick, and write upon it for Joseph, the stick of Ephraim...for all the house of Israel. And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. These two sacred volumes are the word of God and have been brought together in our day.
