A boy from the 1950s has a haunting dream about being reunited with his father, only to awake dead in his bed and doesn't know he's dead, who walks through life in the 20th century looking for dead things amongst the living. Until, four hoity-toity, wealthy college students go on a Fall camping trip; they happen upon a strange boy walking along the side of the road alone at night. But as soon as the students offer the boy a ride back home, strange things begin to happen.
