"The Redeemable Man" is McGilvray's eigthth published volume of poetry and the sixth to feature great works of art and photography. Artists included are my Granddaughter Jenna Planck, Vincent Van Gogh, Jack Vettriano, William Blake, Salvador Dali, Peter Paul Reubens, William Henry Fox Talbot, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, John Singer Sargent, Edgar Degas, Nicolas-Sébastien Adam, Pablo Picasso, Bartolome Esteban Murillo, Charles Spencelayh, Jackson Fine Art, Anton Robert Leinweber, H Chandler Christy and McGilvray's own photography. His poetry has been called both thought-provoking and poignant. McGilvray is also the author of "Secrets, Scrawls and Strays - And Other Virgin Verses" and "Thistle Diaries" - Flùr na h-Alba" (Flower of Scotland) a nod to his Scottish ancestry. His third publication, "Fine Art" also features McGilvray's poetry and classic fine artwork. Last year he published his fourth, fifth and sixth volumes of poetry "Frayed", "Brick & Mortar", "The Light Within" and "Empty Chairs". They have all been very well received. Ron has also enjoyed a loyal following and worldwide audience of readers in his online projects "Thistle Diaries" and "Secrets, Scrawls and Strays.
