Adrian Hayes is a man of several strange quirks. He keeps a compulsively clean and orderly apartment, goes out of his way to avoid interacting with everyone, and enjoys creating unique trinkets in his free time, which are often times cleverly made weapons. Oh, and he likes to break into the homes of rich men and women at night and steal purely for the thrill of stealing. At least, that's what he remembers, because one day he finds himself in the company of a hypnotherapist who claims he hired her to suppress a brutally painful collection of memories in his mind. As Adrian tries to adjust to the mysterious smothering of nearly a year's worth of memories, he unexpectedly discovers a woman that captures his full attention almost immediately. She's energetic, full of life, and inexplicably attracted to Adrian's extremely antisocial personality. Adrian soon minds himself hopelessly enamored of his new friend Rachel Cozak, and soon after he's determined to remove his potential competition from the board. Everyone knows what love can do to your judgment, but just how far will this night-time burglar go to win Rachel's favor?
