There is no escaping politics in the Kingdom of the World. Politics determine who will rule and what the rules will be. And rulers will rule either justly or unjustly, morally or immorally, rightly or wrongly. In other words, politics-like all other human activities in the Kingdom of the World-is an arena for the struggle between good and evil. So there is much at stake. Although good and evil occur in the Kingdom of the World, the realm of physical reality, these are evidence of spiritual realities. They are the outworkings of the spiritual kingdoms that exist. While some may deny these kingdoms in theory, they prove them in practice. The moral nature of life is evident to all, which is why everyone frames their politics in the context of "justice" rather than of "power." The problem is, of course, that both good and evil are promoted under the banner of justice. This book will explore the Bible's teaching about politics-both in precept and as modeled by godly people throughout history. It will also focus on how justice is distorted in today's political environment. All with the intent to provide a discerning foundation for political practice.
