The relationship between your body, mind, and soul thrives on knowledge. Seek to know. The soul is the primary source of that knowledge. The mind generates original knowledge through the activity of thinking. Every Master understands this. Meditation and mindfulness facilitate this activity by allowing you clarity of focus. Those who meditate their paths rarely stray off or flounder. The path to mastery is the path of experiments: there are no guarantees. In fact, there are no guarantees in the whole of life. To guarantee anything would be to thwart the soul's desires. The soul desires to experience whatever the mind creates - unconditionally, unjudgementally and without any condemnation. Every Master agrees to that. Then, where do your beliefs lie? Where do they leave you? Where does your religion take you? God believes nothing because God knows everything. God knows everything, not because He has experienced everything, but because He holds conceptual knowledge of everything. The purpose of the incarnation therefore is, to enable the Soul, the spirit of God in man, to experience all its conceptual knowledge physically through the body while helping the mind to evolve to perfect Godliness or Soulfulness. That is the general purpose of life. The specific purpose of life is everything that you choose. You are the one to give your life a specific purpose - whatever you choose. That is the role of your mind - to choose a particular area where you can show case your devine mastery using some or all of the principles as explained in this book.
