Although today people talk a lot about discipleship or making disciples, many times the meaning of those terms is very different from what we see in the New Testament. Making Disciples, Transferring Life evaluates the process of making disciples in order to recover a definition that is more in accord with the methods used by Jesus with His disciples and by the Apostle Paul with the leaders he discipled. This book analyzes the different stages in the development of a disciple and proposes goals and processes for the work to reach each stage. The authors' focus is on the importance of being a disciple before trying to make disciples because making disciples is transferring life, not just concepts. This book distills more than 50 years of making disciples in various countries in Latin America and among Hispanics in the United States. The book is the authors' translation of their recently published book, El Discipulado: Transferencia de Vida.
