A family, already torn apart from tragedy, faces another one. Buddy aims a shotgun at Ray and tells him to prepare to meet his Maker. No one hits his sister and gets away with it. Jenny pleads with her brother not to shoot Ray. She has plans to leave him, she just needs a few more days. With her promise to leave Ray, Buddy goes against his gut instinct and leaves their home. Now Jenny is dead. Driven by guilt and anger, Buddy is out for some country justice when the courts acquit Ray of murder.
