Motivational Messages in a Snack Box
Josephine Pl Ong
In this book, I am sharing snippets of motivational messages to my young son by writing them at the back of recycled name cards and placing them in his snack box. Call it separation anxiety or micromanaging, I have found this to be an effective "quiet voice" to encourage him when the going gets tough. Issues such as friendship, hard work, forgiveness, future planning, having hope and how to behave when we are misunderstood were randomly written down whenever the thoughts popped up in my mind. After doing this for a period of time, I have picked out my 100 favourite ones to share with you so that you can use them to motivate and encourage your precious child and teenager, too.
