In the liberal faith I served, it was the tradition for the minister to write a column for the church newsletter. During my 40 years of service, I wrote hundreds of them on wide-ranging subjects. I enjoyed the process - most of the time. While cobbling them together, I thought of them as Mini-Essays for others and as Mini-Therapy Sessions for me. So when it came to choosing the selections for this book, I decided each one would have to include both those aspects. I also wanted them to be enjoyable, perhaps a bit provocative, maybe even amusing. So here they are, mostly unorganized as to when and where they were written, although I have divided them into sections. I hope you enjoy them.
