I had to travel to the fifth century AD to speak with Sakratt, Warrior Queen of the Visigoths, whose territory was being invaded by the Roman Empire. But most of my other imaginary friends appear in the twenty-first century. We discuss contemporary issues such as conspiracies, misuse of the English language, the dark side of technology, astrology, super-heroes, spiritual gurus, and government/corporate attempts to hijack our minds. You'll also read conversations I had with some real people who died long ago. Two of them had brilliant insights on today's life. Another introduced tobacco to Europe. One used to smoke two hundred cigarettes a day. Three of my imaginary friends are, at least technically, criminals.
