Crossroads Series is a journey full of cross roads that the characters encounter and how they choose which road to take, safe or adventurous. It has significant characters of all age levels making it a great choice for multigenerational book clubs. Book 3 of the Crossroads Series, The Dream Team Arrives picks up after Kid returns home to Minnesota from California. He is still giving Cassie time to sort out how she feels about the Dream and its impact on the two of them. While waiting he begins putting his endorsement earnings to work toward the goal of changing the future he saw in his Dream. He puts together several deals and recruits experienced people to take them over. He even meets two of his fellow Dream participants. On the field, he suffers his first slump and struggles to get through the doldrums of August. Cassie becomes the face of women's softball during the World Tournament and racks up her own endorsement deals. She begins to lose touch with the Kid. She goes right from the tournament in Europe to school back east. Cassie and Kid begin to worry about the impact on their relationship. Cole's team survives the hostile takeover and he now gets more involved in the Kid's plans to save the planet.
