Amanda is an extraordinary girl, the daughter to a famous musician and in a relationship with one of the cutest boys at her school. However, these things are not what make young Amanda extraordinary. She has a gift passed down to her for generations, however she is unsure of what that gift is due to losing her memory as a child. After unearthing some old journals from the attic, she recalls part of her ancestry; and so she resumes her childhood mission to try and find the fabled Thirteenth Rainbow. Every year, she counts the rainbows that she finds, following in her great-uncle's footsteps in tracking the fabled rainbow down. However, nothing could have prepared her for what The Thirteenth Rainbow had in store. Now, Amanda and Ralphy are in a seemingly impossible scenario, with no visible way out. As they progress, they realize why the secret of the Thirteenth Rainbow was so closely guarded, and possibly what had driven one of her ancestors to insanity. As beautiful as it is dangerous and as exciting as it is terrifying; the secret that hides behind the rainbow is far more than a pot of gold or a lucky amulet. Maybe some secrets are best kept locked away in the attic.
