Since the founding of the United States project there has been terror and oppression. Slavery was one of the most terrifying chapters that for some reason most people believe was a thing of the past. Is it? The true nature of slavery as taught in the public school system has been obscured from the populace, and fostered into the minds of the people as some sort of specific master-slave relationship, when in reality it was about codes, laws and doctrine that would set the stage for society then, and in the future. One only has to look around to see that the same codes of slavery are alive and well, but since most don't know the codes, they don't recognize the slavery.
