This arrangement requires the Grade 3 technical skills, range, and maturity of high school or college-level performers and an accomplished pianist. After a short piano introduction in common time, the popular hymn tune is introduced by the soloist in Concert Key of Db Major. There is a modulation into the Key of Eb Major for the final verse. The range is not extreme, rhythmic demands in common time are very minimal which makes this an easy arrangement to put together and a popular choice for performances in many types of church services.
