This is two sets of stories. The first are about First Sergeant Bob Venkovitz. He was the leader of the Death Hammer Squad in the Galactic Fleet Marines. His mission field was the entire Milky Way Galaxy. His primary job, fighting off intrusions into human Space from the higher races. It was the most dangerous job in the galaxy. The second set of stories are about Starship Captain Jane Wolling. She was beautiful, charming, and a chronic overachiever. She flew around spying on the outer reaches of space looking for valuable resources and charming every Space Patrol Captain that came to chase her away.
