This collection of poems is a humorous and insightful glimpse into the lives of fifty early pioneers of the game of baseball. The subjects of this collection include players, executives and other contributors to the game which we now refer to as a national pastime. Dr. William J. Maloney is a clinical associate professor at New York University College of Dentistry. He is a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, the New York Academy of Medicine, the Royal Society of Medicine and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Maloney is the author of over 270 professional publications. He has also been presented with the Award of Excellence from The Floating Hospital of New York City. He has also been inducted into various prestigious organizations and societies, such as The New York Academy of Medicine and The Royal Society of Medicine.
