This year's Soul Detox is focused on you doing what God ordained for you to do because of who you are. I am fully persuaded that your purpose follows from your identity. Although intricately connected, I believe who you are informs what you do. I must state, 'stress' and to a 'degree' remind you that you are not saved by works, you are saved by grace through faith, YES! But the story does not end there. Once saved, what next?Ephesians 2:10 says we are God's masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. (NLT). So you see we are not just saved to go to heaven, we are saved so we can do what God ordained for us to do in the first place. I believe one of the ways we bring glory to God, is by doing what He created us to do. In the book of Genesis chapter 1 we see that God's definition of good is when creature functions according to the purpose for which He created it. He looked at it and said it was good. Mathew 5:16 says we should let our light so shine before men so when they see our good works they will glorify Your Father in heaven. My prayer is that this year, your works will testify of God and draw others to God in Jesus name. For the year 2020 the Lord called us back to faith and I'm sure you can see why! With everything going on globally, we needed to breathe, see, walk, talk and, live by faith. Let me use this opportunity to congratulate you for making it to the end of the year.
